ASAP Production is an independent documentary production company based in Kyiv, Ukraine. The company is led by a woman producer and works with Ukrainian and international filmmakers to develop and produce documentaries that explore contemporary realities, personal stories and important social and cultural issues.

We believe in the power of documentary cinema to tell honest and deeply human stories, to preserve experiences and memories, and to create a space for dialogue. Our projects are rooted in the Ukrainian context and often explore themes such as identity, resilience, human rights, culture, memory and social change. At the same time, we are interested in stories that have a universal dimension and can connect with audiences beyond Ukraine.

ASAP Production is involved in all stages of documentary production, from research and project development to financing, production, post production and distribution. We work closely with directors and creative teams, building a production process around the needs and artistic vision of each project. Our aim is to create the right conditions for filmmakers to develop their ideas while maintaining a strong and professional production structure.

Being based in Kyiv allows us to stay closely connected to the Ukrainian documentary community and to the people and stories shaping the country today. We see documentary filmmaking as an important way to reflect on the present, document experiences that might otherwise be lost and give Ukrainian voices an opportunity to be heard internationally.

International cooperation is an important part of our work. We are open to co production and long term partnerships with European and international producers, broadcasters, funds, festivals and distributors. We believe that collaboration between professionals from different countries can bring new perspectives to a project and create stronger opportunities for its international development and visibility.
