Global PR & Communications Manager

SET (Science, Entrepreneurship, Technology) University is a Ukrainian non-profit tech university that provides world-class higher education and grows the next generation of Ukraine’s tech talent. Our goal is to strengthen Ukraine’s tech ecosystem by integrating global best practices, top international expertise, and strong partnerships across technology, education, and academia.

We are looking for a Global PR Manager who will take ownership of SET University’s international communications, media presence, and brand awareness across Europe, the USA, and the MENA region.

This role sits at the intersection of PR, thought leadership, events, and strategic communications - ideal for someone who can shape narratives, prepare high-level speakers, and confidently pitch the university on the global stage.

What will be your focus?

• Pitch SET University to global and regional media, build and expand an international media database
• Write and distribute press releases, op-eds, articles, and expert commentary
• Work closely with university spokespersons to build and scale their personal brand
• Prepare speakers for international visibility: talking points, key messages, interviews, and panels
• Organize and manage international events, both online and offline
• Lead communications campaigns around university activities, launches, partnerships, and public initiatives
• Pitch SET University to global conferences and industry events
• Work with a university spin-off startup to launch PR and communications activities in cybersecurity

What we are looking for:

• 3-5 years of experience in PR and communications (tech, education, innovation sectors preferred)
• Excellent writing and storytelling skills (Ukrainian and English)
• Experience working with international media and global audiences
• Proven ability to prepare speakers and manage executive-level communications
• Strong organizational skills, independence, and ownership mindset
• Clear understanding of how PR drives brand awareness, trust, and impact
