LVIV SPACE COMMUNITY MANAGER, ENGIN
ENGin is a global nonprofit working to connect a million Ukrainians with volunteers worldwide through weekly online conversations. Our big idea is to cultivate an entire generation of globally-minded, English-fluent citizens who will drive Ukraine’s social and economic growth. At the same time, we are also establishing a global network of volunteers who love and support Ukraine.
We are hiring an energetic, organized, and community-oriented ENGin Lviv Community Space Manager to oversee the operation and growth of our physical space in Lviv. This role combines elements of event coordination, operational oversight and community management. The Lviv Space Manager will play a key role in strengthening engagement among our students and volunteers in person, supporting our mission through special programs (offline realization of ENGinPRO English mini-courses and Speak UA subprogram), engaging events and collaborations, and showcasing our organization as a vibrant place for learning, connection, and cultural exchange.
Key Responsibilities
1. Community & Event Management
Plan, organize, and execute events, workshops, and meetups for students and volunteers, ensuring high-quality experiences that align with our mission.
Identify and coordinate with potential speakers.
Manage community activities such as the book club, movie club, board game gatherings, and other interactive activities that foster Job connection and engagement.
Collect and analyze feedback from event participants to continuously improve offerings and better meet offline community needs.
Foster a warm, inclusive, and engaging environment that encourages connection, growth, and collaboration.
2. Space & Operations Management
Oversee the daily operations of the Lviv Space, ensuring it is welcoming, functional, and well-maintained.
Manage supplies, office materials, and equipment to ensure smooth operations.
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers as needed, ensuring space cleanliness, organization, safety, and comfort for all participants.
3. Partnerships & External Relations
Build and maintain partnerships with local organizations, educational institutions, hotels, and tourist attractions to enhance the experience of our students and volunteers.
Negotiate and coordinate space collaborations and sponsorships that align with our mission.
Represent our organization in the Lviv community, attending relevant events and networking opportunities.
Requirements
✔️Proven experience in event management, co-working/office management, hospitality, or operations (2+ years).
✔️Strong organizational and event management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
✔️English level of B2 or higher
✔️Fluent in Ukrainian
✔️Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Ukrainian and English
✔️Creativity, problem-solving mindset, and a proactive attitude.
✔️Passion for education, cross-cultural exchange, and community building.
✔️Comfortable with spreadsheets and basic data analysis
✔️Comfortable working with digital tools like Google Workspace apps
✔️ Eager to be challenged and grow each day
✔️ Workload 40 hours/week, on-site role (working days: Wednesday–Sunday)
Preferred:
✔️ Basic budgeting and reporting skills.
✔️ Experience with collaborations, partnership development, or community outreach.
✔️ Experience in media outreach, marketing, or social media promotion/content creation.
✔️ Familiarity with Lviv’s cultural and educational ecosystem.
