Practical Product Design

Practical Product Design is a team of Tanya Zavialova and Yuri Ternytsky. We teach designers and teams the fundamentals of product thinking to create valuable and intuitive digital products. We combine learning with practice — from user research to building effective team processes. With experience in product design, management, and facilitation, we understand the needs of users, businesses, and teams. We don’t teach theory. We work with teams on real challenges — just like we do in our everyday work. Our Approach We work at the intersection of education, consulting, and practical design. Our areas — Learn, Train, and Consult & Hire — cover the full cycle of designer and product-team growth. Learn — Our flagship course, Product Design Fundamentals, is designed for mid-level UX/UI designers and product managers who want to build practical skills to solve product challenges, gain experience in discovery, and improve collaboration with designers and researchers. 8 hands-on modules, teamwork, mentorship, and real-impact case studies. Train — Practical workshops for product and cross-functional teams that want to validate ideas faster, align their vision, and make informed decisions. Our workshops: 1. Lean UX Canvas — how to test hypotheses with minimal time and effort. 2. Service Blueprint — how to design service workflows and align user experience with company processes. 3. Value Proposition Canvas — how to shape value propositions that truly resonate with users. 4. Competitor Analysis — how to identify competitive advantages and design digital products based on real market insights. Formats: 1–2 days, up to 16 participants, online or offline. Consult & Hire – We help companies and recruiting agencies assess designers during the hiring process. We conduct technical interviews, review portfolios, and evaluate skill levels.
