OpenTag is a well-funded International company within the field of Sports Betting and iGaming.

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Lead Product Designer to own product design strategy, execution, and design standards across our platform. This role is ideal for a senior designer who combines strong product thinking, UX craft, research discipline, and practical leadership.

You will work closely with senior management, product, engineering, data, operations, and client-facing teams to create best-in-class experiences for B2B operators and B2C end users. The role includes improving existing flows, shaping new product experiences, evolving the design system, and adopting modern design practices, including AI-assisted workflows where relevant.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead product design strategy across web, mobile, native apps, and internal operational tools.

  • Stay hands-on with UX/UI execution, including discovery, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, detailed design, and design QA.

  • Translate complex business, technical, data, and operational requirements into simple, scalable product experiences.

  • Drive user research and validation through interviews, usability testing, analytics, surveys, A/B testing, and operator feedback.

  • Own and evolve the design system to improve consistency, speed, quality, and cross-platform scalability.

  • Partner with product, engineering, data, operations, and clients to balance usability, business value, technical feasibility, and time-to-market.

  • Introduce stronger design processes, measurable UX/UI standards, and modern AI-assisted design workflows.


Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Product Design, UX/UI, or Interaction Design, preferably with leadership or ownership responsibilities.

  • Strong portfolio showing shipped digital products, clear product thinking, UX process, and polished UI execution.

  • Experience in iGaming, sports betting, fintech, trading, SaaS platforms, or another complex transactional product environment.

  • Deep expertise in user research, information architecture, interaction design, usability testing, prototyping, and validation.

  • Strong understanding of product metrics, experimentation, analytics, and data-informed design decisions.

  • Experience working closely with product, engineering, data, operations, and client-facing teams.

  • Experience maintaining or scaling a design system across multiple products, brands, or platforms.

  • Excellent Figma skills, including component-based design, prototyping, design system usage, and developer handoff.

  • Experience in Agile or Lean product environments with MVP thinking, iterative delivery, and time-to-market constraints.

  • Clear English communication and the ability to explain design decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • High ownership mindset with the ability to lead initiatives end-to-end and move work forward independently.

Strong Advantage

  • Experience designing B2B operator tools, back-office platforms, CRM tools, CMS flows, or analytics dashboards.

  • Experience with AI-enabled product experiences, personalization, recommendation engines, or LLM-based features.

  • Practical use of AI tools to accelerate research synthesis, ideation, prototyping, UX writing, design QA, or product discovery.

  • Experience hiring, managing, mentoring, or developing product designers.
