Middle 2D Motion designer

The Unicorn is an awarded branding and animation studio originally from Ukraine, with a complex, well-managed design approach with 🇺🇦 resilience, efficiency, and dedication.

Our primary focus in animation is character-based animation, and we require specific attention to detail in this animation type.

We’re looking for a 2D Motion Designer to join our team, working with a test period first in a quite specific project. Your personality and English level are essential to us, as our team has been crafted carefully over the years, and we take care of it.

Your Role & Responsibilities

• Work with 2D character-based animation (mostly vector-based);
  
• Collaborate with team of Art Director, Lead Animator, Project Manager to incorporate feedback;
  

Hard Skills Must-Haves

• At least 2-3 years of commercial experience in a studio or agency;
  
• Strong understanding of motion design principles, timing, and composition (we need it for real 💞);
  
• Creative Adobe suite (mainly After Effects). Knowledge of Limber, DUIK and other plugins for character animation is a big plus.
  
• Frame-by-frame animation experience is a huge plus;
  

Soft Skills Must-Haves

• Communication skills, responsibility, self-organization;
  
• Super high attention to detail;
  
• Mistakes Tolerance: understanding that everyone makes mistakes and can effectively incorporate constructive feedback from both team members and clients to deliver quality results;
  
• LGBT+ tolerance;
