About the Role

We’re looking for a Community Manager to build and nurture a premium space for our YouTube Sponsors —and then expand that experience to Discord. You’ll lead the way in shaping a strong, trusted community—creating small moments of connection, exclusive access, and making our supporters feel like insiders, not just viewers.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the YouTube Sponsors community: Create and execute strategies to welcome new sponsors, retain current ones, and keep engagement high.
  • Develop exclusive content ideas (with teams), community polls, and early access experiences that make membership feel special.
  • Moderate and respond to comments from sponsors—especially under sponsor-only videos and community posts.
  • Launch and manage a dedicated Discord server for sponsors: design channels, set up access tiers (if needed), and create routines.
  • Collaborate with editorial, video, and design teams to deliver perks promised to members and brainstorm new ones.
  • Coordinate the delivery of sponsor perks, including physical merch, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
  • Actively listen to the community—surfacing feedback, sentiment, and suggestions to internal teams.
  • Track metrics related to sponsor retention, satisfaction, and growth, and optimize your approach based on data.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–4 years in community management, especially with YouTube memberships and/or Discord.
  • Fluent English (C1 or native)—you can write and speak with clarity, warmth, and precision.
  • Clear communicator with high empathy and a sense of digital culture.
  • Comfortable building new systems, solving problems, and working across teams.
  • Bonus: Experience with YouTube Studio, moderation tools, or journalism-driven platforms.
