Website development for the international agricultural company – 🌱 UniferX

UniferX is a global company, which distributes organic fertilizers for crops. Its core goal is to contribute to overcoming the climate crisis by providing solutions that help plants adapt to changing environmental conditions.

Challenge

The company's corporate website has long been outdated, not meeting modern requirements or its updated brand identity.

So, our challenge was to overhaul the site to make it both functional and visually attractive. We aimed to create one of the best websites in the market.

The Goodface team focused on simplifying access to information, ensuring users could easily understand the company's products.

Due to the complex data system, we had to fine-tune its functionality to make it user-friendly.

Discovery

We started with market research and competitor analysis and developed a detailed user flow, site map, and wireframes. Then we pitched two different design concepts inspired by mood boards.

At the visualization stage, we created an information structure with detailed wireframes to make a clearer vision of the information appearing on the pages.

Design concepts

Our team crafted two design styles based on mood boards:

1. A dynamic look combining simple geometric shapes, extensive typography, animations, and a modern grid layout.

2. A sleek, dark-tone approach, inspired by the Bento UI trend.

Design

At the design stage, our team worked on creating an advanced search feature and an interactive map for quickly locating distributors.

We've improved product filters to make selecting products easier. And those dynamic animations add fluidity and provide a more engaging user experience.

Development

Our technical implementation went in three stages: Frontend, Backend and Quality Assurance.

We used React.js for the Frontend and Laravel PHP for the Backend, ensuring the site was scalable, fast, and highly optimized.

Frontend development

At the Frontend stage, we managed to find the right approach to creating and scaling a component system. We also implemented attractive animations without sagging in speed or SEO-optimization.

Backend development

Our Backend developers have implemented cross-country functionality with multilingual support. Now the site adapts to a specific location and language preferences.

Content

We have simplified navigation by adding a smart search, which simplifies finding the necessary info from a large number of documents on our site.

The site is full of various data relationships. Products are associated with cultures, outcomes, countries, etc. So our team built the right interconnection architecture for all of these data objects.

Despite the platform's complex data architecture, we stayed true to one of our core principles: keeping the user experience front and center.

Result

The result is a bold, modern website featuring enhanced navigation, interactive elements, and engaging animations. The site captivates users, encouraging exploration while being fast, accessible, and simple to manage
