Website development, dashboard redesign, and new brand Identity for a Fintech Company – Bill_line

Bill_line is a progressive payment system for online businesses, providing personal accounts with analytics for customers.

Challenge

The company’s website was outdated, particularly its logo and visuals. Additionally, the personal account interface was unintuitive, even for regular customers.

So we aimed to overhaul the website, simplifying complex processes, redesigning visuals and improving the entire user experience.

Solution

Research

During a workshop, we discovered the company lacked a cohesive brand strategy in the market. So we conducted deep research to develop the project strategy.

Logo & brand identity

The company’s logo was overly complex, prompting us to analyze competitors to identify trends such as clean typography and simplified design.

Since companies in this field often deal with complex payment solutions, design trends emphasize simplicity and clarity. So we crafted a concept, of catching and remembering the logo. It helps to be remembered by users at a glance.

Concepts

We created several concepts using the font name of the company and the line — the leading element of the logo. The line in the concepts symbolizes part of the company name — Bill_Line.

The client decided to use two concepts. Firstly user sees the first logo with a straight line (Bill_line). Then the motion design is rounded, thanks to the motion. This symbolizes a smile, and reflects the main idea of the new positioning — client care.

That’s how we completed two important tasks:

1. simplified the logo, leaving branded elements;

2. adapted the logo to the principles of the project - friendliness and customer orientation.

So now takes a strong place among international competitors, while following modern tendencies.

Website development

The design of the Bill_line website pages continues the identity concept. We used logo colors and brevity. Stylization in motion design was added to the interactive elements.

The thing is, that with weak Frontend solution motion design can load the site. Users just spend a long time waiting, or even fo away before the first screen arrives.

We turned motion design into an advantage. Our front-end development department achieves download speeds of 98-99 out of 100 for Google Page Speed. Therefore, more often we add animations through programming.

Pages design

Each page highlights Bill_line’s capabilities, guiding users seamlessly from the very first screen.

The client requested a dedicated, stylized page for API integration with user sites. And we made comprehensive instructions for setting up and connecting the code.

User's Account

The interface needed a serious overhaul to meet customer needs and align with modern digital standards. The previous User Account design was clunky and overwhelming, turning simple tasks like registration into frustrating experiences.

We simplified processes, provided clear insights, and created a user-friendly experience that feels natural and efficient.

Intuitive interface

Each step of account management now includes clear, helpful hints that explain the purpose of each function and how to use it effectively. We streamlined the registration process, integrating it seamlessly into the homepage.

Dashboard

We also developed a sleek dashboard concept where information is presented clearly and concisely, avoiding clutter or unnecessary elements.

Result

The project resulted in a revamped website and an intuitive, user-friendly account interface. Bill_line now stands out in the competitive fintech market with a modern, functional design that resonates with user needs and current trends.
